Kuedo will release his new album, Infinite Window, on 29 July 2022 on Brainfeeder. The new album, due out at the end of July, is the first since "Slow Knife", released by our friends at Planet Mu in 2016. With a mix of synth-laden avant-garde compositions and thunderous drum programming, the album owes as much to modern R&B icons like Frank Ocean and The Weeknd as it does to legendary composers like David Axelrod, Tangerine Dream and the recently deceased Vangelis, or contemporary breakbeat aficionados like Sully and Jlin. Kuedo (pronounced Q-dough) is known for his composition and sound design work for companies such as Fendi, Bvlgari, Iris Van Herpen and Nike, among others. The release of his upcoming album follows a 2017 collaboration with Brainfeeder boss Flying Lotus for the soundtrack of "Blade Runner: Black Out 2022" (directed by "Cowboy Bepbop" director Shinichiro Watanabe), with Kuedo also scoring Metahaven's "Eurasia (Questions On Happiness)" and "The Sprawl (Propaganda About Propaganda)". The notion of "time" - looking forward and back - runs like a thread through the album and the recording process. The genesis of Infinite Window began in early 2021, when Kuedo sat down to compose a full album for Brainfeeder. The finished record ber is a meticulously assembled collage of new compositions and various demos and sound recordings, some dating back almost ten years. The limited edition yellow vinyl LP features artwork by emerging visual artists Monja & Vincent and a cover design by Raf Rennie (Acronym, Prada, Nike).
