20.00 – At Plattfon Stampa CF will talk about the history of both labels and the ideas associated with them as well as briefly presenting the latest edition of datacide.

At around 21.30 everyone should have moved around the corner to Kaserne, where Les Reines Prochaines will play at about 22.00
from about 23.00 Praxis will take over with
Cortex – Electric Kettle – Base Force One – Zombieflesheater and Vile Enginez – until 2.00

OMG! Unser Webshop ist online! Es hat eine Weile gedauert. Aber ab heute ist der Shop unter http://shop.plattfon.ch erreichbar und bildet mehr oder weniger das ganze Sortiment ab. Noch ist nicht alles 100% so wie es sein sollte, aber wir arbeiten kontinuierlich daran, den Shop zu verbessern.

Die über 70 Veranstaltungen der letzten zwei Jahre haben uns viel Zeit und Energie abverlangt, aber gezeigt das es ein Bedürfniss in Basel gibt Musik jenseits des Mainstreams zu hören. Da von den meisten Clubs und Konzertorten in Basel diese Musik und Non-Musik nicht programmiert wird haben wir die Initiative ergriffen. Unsere gute Vernetzung mit anderen Städten wie Genf dem Cave12, Biel Lokal-Int, Zürich Les Complices, sowie neue Räume die aufgehen in Zürich (Asahi Picture News) etc. haben uns dazu bewogen, wie es in der Schweiz üblich ist, einen Verein zu Gründen mit dem Namen “Rumort”. Rumort ist ein Zusammenschluss von Musikern und Interessenten. Wir suchen Mitglieder und Gönner,  sowie Leute die aktiv mithelfen in ausgewählten Lokalitäten in Basel Konzerte zu Veranstalten.

The over 70 events of the last two years have required a lot of time and energy but have nevertheless confirmed Basel’s demand for music outside the mainstream. Most of the city’s clubs and music venues do not cater to such a demand so we came up with the initiative ourselves. Our good network connections with other cities such as Geneva’s Cave12, Aarau’s Musikzimmer and similar new spaces in Zurich (Asahi Picture News), have compelled us – as often occurs in Switzerland – to establish an association titled “Rumort”. Rumort is a union of musicians and other interested parties who are looking for members, sponsors, and people willing to actively participate in organizing events in Basel’s selected locations.
